In early April we took the fam down to Callaway Gardens for a fun weekend away.  This was our first time there as a family and it was beautiful weather and beautiful gardens.

Last night I was lying in bed thankful for my family.  I feel very aware of how blessed I am.  There is much to be thankful for, and today I am thankful for my girls.  I have the privilege of being their mama.

Today I heard two fabulous pieces of news.  Chick-fil-a is opening a new store close to our house.  We have one about 3 miles from the house, but this new one will be about 1 1/2 miles.  Sweet!  Actually I cannot think of the last time we went to CFA, but it is always nice to know that one is super close by.

They were red Charlie Brown glasses and I loved them.  They were just for reading, and doing close up work, and that is all I have needed them for until recently (not that I still have those glasses).  The verdict is still out (only because I haven't actually been to the eye doctor yet), but I think I might need an upgrade in glasses. The girls are hard at work playing.  On Monday alone they spent 1.5 hours straight in the hallway without any need for me to help them, or even break-up an argument...it has been heaven.
